SHG (Strictly High Grown) specifies that the coffee was grown at an altitude of about 1350 metres. The altitude and low temperatures make the fruit ripen more slowly and this leads to a coffee with a greater complexity of aromas in the cup.
Sensory analysis
This coffee releases a fruity aroma and a caramel flavour, medium acidity and a full, liqueur-like body with a final note of sweetness.
